The drive is not rip locked or anything elaborate like that. This thread is locked.

One suggestion I see more than once is physically remove the drive, boot once without it, then shut down and reinstall it. I also find this via Google: I have the same question 4.
If you can access the CD or DVD drive, and if you do not receive an error message, the problem is resolved.
